General This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is collected, used, protected and, where necessary, shared when you use the STARZADE website, customer account, ordering and payment flow, personal star pages, the StarZade Finder app and related STARZADE services. Information we may collect Depending on the service you use, we may process: • name, surname, email address, phone number and account information; • order, package, delivery, billing and payment-status information; • the personal name assigned to a star, special date, sender and recipient details, messages and customisation choices; • photos, videos and other content that you upload to a personal star page; • the selected star's catalogue identifier, astronomical coordinates and registration information; • technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, language and currency preferences, session data and security logs; • correspondence and requests sent to customer support. 3. Payment information Card payments are processed through Epoint payment infrastructure. STARZADE does not store full card numbers or CVV authentication data in its order database. We may retain the payment result, transaction identifier, amount, currency and technical status information required to match a payment to an order. 4. Why we use information We primarily use information to: • accept orders, confirm payments and prepare the purchased product; • provide certificates, digital documents, personal star pages and the services included in the selected package; • operate customer accounts, registrations and StarZade Finder access; • send delivery, order-status and service communications; • provide customer support and resolve disputes or technical issues; • prevent fraud, unauthorised access and other security risks; • meet accounting, tax and other legal obligations; • improve service reliability, quality and user experience. 5. Legal basis and your choices Data may be processed where necessary to provide the service and perform an order, to comply with legal obligations, to protect the service and its users, and, where required, on the basis of your consent. If optional information is not provided, only the functions that depend on that information may be unavailable. 6. Cookies, sessions and local storage STARZADE may use essential cookies and browser localStorage/sessionStorage for language and currency preferences, secure sessions and continuity of the checkout flow. These technologies are used for functional purposes such as keeping your selections during checkout and maintaining a secure account session. If advertising or separate analytics technologies are introduced in the future, this policy will be updated and a separate consent mechanism will be used where required. 7. Sharing of information We do not sell personal data. Limited information may be shared where necessary to provide the service with: • Epoint and other payment-infrastructure partners; • hosting, email, file-storage and technical-infrastructure providers; • delivery providers when a physical product is ordered; • competent authorities and courts where disclosure is required by law. We apply the principle of sharing only the information reasonably necessary for the relevant service. 8. Personal star pages and sharing STARZADE may allow photos, messages and other personal content to appear on a personal star page. Depending on the page's privacy and sharing settings, people who receive the page link may be able to view that content. You are responsible for respecting the rights and privacy of other people in content that you choose to publish or share. 9. Retention Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to manage orders and accounts, maintain service continuity and security, and meet accounting and legal obligations. When retention is no longer required, information may be deleted, anonymised or retained only to the extent required by applicable law. 10. Security STARZADE uses organisational and technical safeguards including access controls, secure session and cookie settings, signature verification, restricted administrative access and other security measures. No internet-based system, however, can be guaranteed to carry zero risk. 11. Your rights To the extent provided by applicable law, you may contact us to request information about your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion or restriction where legally available, or withdrawal of consent that you previously gave. Some information may need to be retained because of legal, tax, payment-dispute or security obligations. 12. Changes to this policy This policy may be updated as the service, legal requirements or technical infrastructure change.
